What is the best way to prepare for my AP Chemistry exam?

  • I am a junior in high school and my AP Chemistry exam is May 8th. I was wondering what I need to have memorized, what are the most important sections to review, and what are the best strategies for taking this exam. I would love to score a 4 on this and any advice would be extremely appreciated!

    Students who score a 3 or higher on the exam MAY receive college credit from a college or university that accept AP credits. It is a good idea to check with the university the student plans to attend to see if they will accept AP credits. Some universities will advise students to take General Chemistry even if they accept the AP score, especially if the student is planning on a chemistry major, to reinforce basic concepts.

The best way is to do the assignments right after they are assigned instead of right before they are due. Test time is a non-event because you are always perfectly prepared.

When I took my last AP class (it was 2011 so I may not be the most reliable source) I used a Barron's test prep book (Barron's AP Art History to be more specific) and it had exactly what I needed to know in it. I actually recognized pictures from it on the exam. I fnot you can go to the rea ap website and they have books for study prep on there too
