Are there any books on digital painting?

There were these books I read in elementary school (2005) that were each about different young women & had a portrait painting...

  • in a square on the cover of that girl. I can't remember the author nor any names of the books & would like to read them again. I think they were based on true stories but I can't recall. They were definitely stories in the past such as western times in the states, for example. The main focus was these girls struggling with the times and their family. I remember loving the books. If you have any idea what books I'm talking about, please help me! They're by the same author and the covers were identical looking. Thank you.

    Idk, Nancy Drew are good old-fashioned books for girls. Judy Blume's books about Ramona and Beezus.

Don't know if this is the series you are looking for but- Patricia Lowery Nixon Wrote books for you do children. Two of her favorite series for elementary kids were- Orphan Train- 6 books in that set. Each one tells a story about a different child and how they survived. Ellis Island- 3 books in this group. Three girls meet at Ellis Island. Each go their separate way but remain friends. If not I'll think some more.
