How do i connect my Nintendo DS Lite to the Internet?

I am trying to connect a Nintendo DS Lite to the internet but it is telling me that the settings are invalid how do I fix this?

    you can upgrade to the 3DS models (Psst! I'd Strongly Recommend the 2DS. 3D hurts my eyes and others as well and the 2DS may be bulky and can't fold, BUT it is Alot much cheaper. like around $120. And you can play both 3DS Games and old DS games. ) hope I helped...

I wasn't aware you could but I'd imagine you'd have to update it, or change the settings

You can't. Nintendo discontinued the Internet on wii and all DS models last year because it wasn't seen as profitable anymore.
