How do you repot a bamboo plant

Answer:
Bigger pot and similar soil. I would not worry much about soil quality because bamboo is particularly hard to kill.

wtaber is correct in my opinion. Just transfer it into a larger pot, the bamboo runners will eventually spread out, initially they might be in a solid root ball, like steel cables it seems. I have transferred my Golden Bamboo and never had an issue.

It depends on if your bamboo is in water (like mine) or in soil. It can be easy either way.

Just did that yesterday but its one I keep in a glass container with water and a few stones. Just rinse off any old or dead roots. Empty out old water refill with fresh and put back in,, Its that easy
