how can you treat a burn?

  • Ok so I was straightening my hair ealing and I burned my foot. (lol ok don't ask, it's a long story lol) anyways it literally clamped on my foot and now the top of my foot has a semi-big red blotch (a burn) and it's starting to bubble. it really hurts and I didn't treat it in any way when it happened cuz I didn't know see anything when it first happened cuz it looked fine. now it's bright red and bubbly. how can I treat this to help it go away? thanks... :)

That stinks, believe me, sister, I've done it. I was straightening my hair and I got my ear really badly. It hurts a lot, just try to keep it disinfected, wash it, if you have disinfectant spray or maybe some Nestorian or something else of the sort to prevent any infection I would really suggest it, get it checked by a doctor for any infections and if you have maybe some bandages around the house, I would suggest wrapping it, because your foot is in contact with the ground A LOT. Hope it gets better, it WILL go away, trust me.

Lol I'm 15. Been there done that. You stepped on the flat iron, didn't you? But anyways, soak your foot in cold water and wrap it in ointment or icy hot. I prefer icy hot.

Use clean cool water. Next time if you put egg whites on it right away it helps heal it right away. Only the whites

Any ways, medicTion is the best way too, use oils and wait a few weeks for it to heal
