Where to start to become a professional race driver?

• I want to possibly become a professional race driver. Do you think I should whether take classes? If yes, what kind and how do I know if they actually are going to help me learn? What else could help me to get involved in the racing world and pro racers?Any thoughts would be appreciated.

  Most drivers started as kids in go cart races and moved up when they become older and better at it and race in bigger cars over time. Then they would find a local sponsor to race for. Some drivers it is easier for them than others because of family that are in the business and they know what it takes to race professional. Go to your local race track and ask around talk to the owner of the car the crew chief maybe the driver. Call the track and ask if there are any sponsor that might be looking for a driver.
