What should I pack for an August trip to North Carolina?

What should you bring to an out of state school trip (1 day)?

  • Hi! I am going on a school trip from NC (North Carolina) to SC (South Carolina). I've never been out of state before. We leave around 4-5 AM for SC and head back around 8 PM. I have NO CLUE what to pack. I have so far got: A notebook, pencils, a book (Little Men by Louisa May Alcott), feminine products, and snacks. How much cash will I need? Lunch is payed for but I need money for dinner and if I decide to shop anywhere or go to the arcade. I will also bring my phone and emergency money.

    If you have a phone/ipod, definitely bring that! Also, bring earbuds, and chargers for all your devices. Also, don't forget a hairbrush, tooth brush, deodorant, the basics! I would bring about $25. That gives you $15 for dinner, and $10 for shopping. Since it's only one say, you don't need a whole lot, and you pretty much have the basics down. Have a great time!

$50-$100 to be safe. Bring a jacket incase it's cold, maybe throw an extra pair of jeans or whatever in your backpack. It's only a day, you really don't need too much and you don't want to lug it around. Have fun!
