Why is my Xbox 360 scratching my disk?

Xbox 360 Wolfenstein : New Order mandatory install disk freezes whole Xbox! Help?

  • I bought the game finally and received it today, I put the brand new Mandatory Install disk in and the whole Xbox froze, I shut it off by holding down the power button of the front of the Xbox and restarted it. This went on awhile before I tried the other disks, they worked but they required the Mandatory Install Disk. I've been trying to find answers but they are nowhere to be found. My Xbox isn't old, I bought it this Christmas. I have 14.7 GB of space on my Xbox so I don't see what the problem is. Help?

    You may have corrupt data or still not enough space. Wolfenstein is a huge game, so you shouldn't be surprised if it needs even more gigabytes to download the entirety of it. Try going into your system and deleting anything you don't need, and also checking for the corrupt data. You may need to clear the cache as well.
