Where is a good place to live in Georgetown?

Is Georgetown, Washington, DC a good place for kids?

  • Me and my husband are moving to DC from NYC. We have 3 kids younger than 4. We have looked at neighborhoods and really like Georgetown. We have the money to live there but are worried that there isn't any kids around. Is Georgetown a good place for kids, if not, what are other alternatives where we can find pretty 3+ bedroom townhomes.

    Lived there for years it's a great place for kids with the great diversity of activities they can be involved in!Volta Park has great swimming pools and areas where they can play a variety of sports

You could also check out Old Town Alexandria, it's very close to Georgetown. There's also downtown Frederick, MD if you're looking for pretty row houses, but that's a small town.
