Why is Art Education important in Schools?

Should schools focus more on art education?

  I don't see any reliable connection. Art is not the only thing who is important. Everything has a place. If some schools want to focus on art. There's name for them ( "Art school" ) . . Other schools specially public schools need to focus on everything in the same time. It's so unfair & highly out of sense to focus on one category more. Students are there for all courses not only one.If they went focus on art.They'd go in art school from first place. And truly there's no possible way to think it or rule it this way . . . What about Science ? Science is ruling the world, it's everything, A big vary wide knowledge that each new generation needs it. What about history ? History is lessons of life,We learn from past to build today & tomorrow,We look back to see & learn what decisions been made & what moves been through. What about sport ? Health & accuracy, fitness & stamina, strength & passion, ect . . . However we count it by self knowledge or employee job markets .. Art yet is not the only important category.
