Why does hair frizz??

How to de-frizz/calm really poofy hair without heat PLEASE HELP!!!

  • I have EXTREMELY thick, poofy, frizzy, crazy hair that I am just DONE WITH! My hair is blonde (naturally) and kind of curly/kinky and I have tried nearly every shampoo and conditioner that claims to 'tame frizzy hair'. They do not work!!! I straighten my hair sometimes but I don't want to destroy it! I don't blow dry my hair because of the heat damage and plus it takes ages because my hair is so thick! I have tried hair wrapping and it does make my hair straighter, but even more POOFY and FLUFFY!!! If anyone has a method of keeping their hair tamed (without heat) please help! I mind if it doesn't make hair straight, all I want is a bit less frizz! Also if anyone could suggest a product that doesn't need heat to activate it... I would be willing to pay! (I live in Australia so if its available here that would be amazing)Thank you so much in advance! I truly cannot stand my hair any longer! I have even considered chopping it all off!!!!

  • Answer:

There are lots of products for frizzy hair, try a product called Mixed Chics, it works great but you can also leave your conditioner on, don't rinse it out. Last have you tried a hot oil treatment?
