How to become an exchange student from the Philippines?

How do I become a foreign exchange student?

  • I have read many articles and such on how to become a foreign exchange student but I have some obstacles. You see, it's always been my dream to be a high school exchange student. I've been thinking about it a lot recently. My family is not wealthy at all, I've heard rotary youth exchange is affordable and I can apply for scholarships and such. This is kind of like how I feel how about college, my mom said the only way I can go to college is if I get a job so that probably applies to being a foreign exchange student. The issue is I'm a 15 year-old paper delivery girl that makes $40 a month if that. I really want to go to Indonesia. Rotary does have programs for studying in Indonesia. I just applied for a technical school, so probably to be a foreign exchange student I will have to go back to my "home" high school. Like I said, my family isn't the wealthiest, I know I will probably have to get a job but is there anything else I can do to lower the price?
