How to learn C# (moving from C++ to C#?

A close friend of mine might be moving away. How can I learn to accept this without any sadness?

  • We met last year in school and became close. Even though he is 2 years younger than me, he is a great friend of mine. He informed me that there are some problems at home and may be moving to another part of the country. I understand that it is important for him to leave, but how can I learn to accept this? He told me I could visit him whenever I want and I offered to help him move (just being nice), so I know I'll be able to see him once in a while. Plus he said he wants us to keep in touch. I just feel bad that I won't see him as much and I don't know how to accept it. I guess I can accept it because I want what's best for him, I just don't want it to be true. My life must be cursed, because just as I make friends he moves away. It seems like if loss of communication ruins my friendships, distance does. I can never keep a friend and it makes me lonely. Any advice or suggestions?

  • Answer:

Don't try to not feel sad. Feel the sad and then get busy with life.
