Is there anyway to make an iphone more durable?

I want to make my paper iphone case into something a more durable, so what should I do to it?

So, i just made a paper iphone case. But, paper is terrible in humidity or any wet situation, and it doesnt really protect my phone. I just want to know what i can do to the paper or put on it in order to make a hard, clear, and protective barrier that can keep it safe from small drops and the environment. Basically, i want to make a hard shell around the paper that is transparent and will not chip, change color, or break like glass when dropped from 1-2 feet off the ground. Also, i used pencil to sketch on the case, so make sure it is compatible with pencil (typical #2)

Laminate the heck out of it. Or get some shellac and shellac it.
