What do you look for in a guy?

What is gay/weird about a guy complimenting another guy's look?

  • First of all I do not see how it is gay/weird for a guy to say to another guy that he is handsome/good-looking/attractive and etc... Now I do NOT mean hot or sexy. I have heard my friends saying "You look good/great" or simply "Looking good (bro/man)" etc... One of my ex-close friend who was a HS football jock that has been dating with at least 4 girls and has no sign of being gay at all. When he saw my nice haircut he went like "(My name) No homo but you're sexy". I just thought that was nothing weird especially I know that he isn't gay. Honestly I do not see why people think it is weird/gay for guys to give such compliments to eachother. I have even heard TONS of straight guy friends telling eachother "I love you" which to me that means that they are good friends that cares for eachother and friendly/brotherly love. Same with me and my friends we say that to eachother as well. Please help me out here as this is seriously throwing me off.

    It's all in how it's presented. "looking good"... perfectly acceptable in compliments to other guys. "Honey, you sure look sweet today." --- uhmmm, when told to another guy is "gay".

You just need self-confidence. One of the jobs where I used to work required sitting and staring at a display for hours. When Morey got this assignment he always fell asleep. One day I walked past him, bent down and licked his ear, then kept walking. He woke up, rubbed his ear, and looked puzzled. I was far enough away by then that he couldn't see me laughing. I still think it was funny as hell. I've never worried that I might be gay. LOL
