Any suggestions on a finding what I will be good at?

I would like to purchase a fine, dry red wine...but I do not want to waste my time with trial and error finding a good one. Suggestions?

  • less than $30 a bottle please...in addition to being 'dry', I'd like it to have a hint of "fruit/citrus". Also accepted are good white wines, but they have to be realllly good!

  • Answer:

The ONLY dry red wine you'll ever need is Châteauneuf-du-Pape (typically $25 - $30 per bottle, and the only dry white you'll ever need is Pouilly-Fuissé ($15 - $20).

Sorry. What I know about choosing wines you could put in a goose quill and blow in a chigger's eye.
