When do you go shopping to the mall?

When you are lost in a gigantic shopping mall, do you go around in circles or look for the nearest ice cream shop?

  • Answer:

As long as you can find a directory, you should be good. The Valley Fair in San Jose is especially large and I remember wandering around that one for a while. I wasn't lost, but I did get a little confused and mistakenly thought a few stores were in different places. I ended up getting a LOT of exercise :P

Other answers

I started shopping/visiting malls more precisely so that I would start to understand stores and malls better. I don't tend to get lost anymore in them, so it's not as overwhelming to me as it once was. I find that going into malls and paying attention to my surroundings helps a ton, and stores tend to be laid out in a very strategic manner. If you came with me to the Rideau Centre when I was a teenager, I'd be lost and frightened if you didn't know your way. If you came with me there now, I could get you out easily.
