Why is there no sound on the TV with the digital converter?

Anyone else with antennas on their tv sets think the darn digital converter boxes actually make tv viewing worse? The digital signal grows weak and there goes the sound and most of the picture. Bring back analog! I don't mind the snow.

  • Answer:

Yeah, with an indoor antenna, if you live in a fringe area, you will get a worse viewing experience. You might think about investing in a good directional outdoor antenna, if you haven't already got one.

that what i experienced too. 12 pretty good or kinda snowy channels analog, 4 clear channels digital. Seems if you dont live right under the tower, the range is really different. How did yours turn out?

Yes, and when people turn lights on and off the sound makes a bad noise. I think it's something you could do to annoy neighbours in a block of flats.
