How does the whole credit card consolidation process work?

I have a Bank Debit card that also has a Visa logo on it, I have to wait another 2 days for my Paycheck to process and go through, So there is like $10 in the account, My question is if i use my Debit/Credit card over the internet as credit will it work?

  sometimes it does, depending on your records. so if you're known of going over draft all the time. they will not allow you. otherwise they will let you do it. also some other banks will allow you to do it because they know that the money wont be taken out right the way it wont hurt you to try as long as you're sure about the source and those who you're paying for...
