Do you think I can study civil engineering?

With the description of this course in the answer - if you were my boss, would you consider letting me work Part time to study as well as work? My job role is Executive Assistant in an Engineering company? or do you think he will shove it?

Before you approach him, think about how to sell it to him where it will benefit him and the company. Remember, a worker who is educating themselves is a benefit with the knowledge they are learning and can share in the company. If you sell it well, he just might go for it. Being a supervisor myself, I always encourage my employees to learn and grow. If that involves being flexible with their hours so they can go to school, I usually find a way of accomodating them. Before going to your supervisor though, think of how your work will get done with you only being there part time and offer up some suggestions. Also, based upon the course description, the skills you would be learning can be applied in just about any company you work in (probably the one you are in as well). I would also ask about tuition reimbursement. You never know, you might get it. Good luck.
