Why is nursing important to you?

Which job generally(not always) involves more intellect & skill, being a teaching assistant or a nursing assistant? Why?

  • Be it a pre-K, high shcool or college teaching assistant, or a hospital, nursing home or home health nursing assistant, which job USUALLY(ALBEIT NOT ALWAYS) requries more intellect & skill & why? I say a teaching assistant, as they might have to actually teach sometimes or conduct experiments or assistat the teacher or students with these thins. They NEED some knowledge on how to do the math problem, or what events took part in ww2, whereas with nursing assistants, more often than not, they have to do grueling work like bathing patients, cleaning their butts, giving them their food trays with food, etc, along with taking vitals or starting IVs SOEMTIMES, all things which are succesful via practice and don't require too much in depth knwoledge. What do you think? In essence, teaching assistants often have to BE ACTUAL TEACHERS when the teachers are out, and do EVERYTHING or ALMOST EVERYTHIGN the teacher does, whereas the nursing assistant can only do so much of what a regular RN does. The former reqires more skill & intellect, no?

  • Answer:

i think both fields have equal intellect and skills --- EXCEPT that we are talking Peaches and Apples. Same but ot exactly. Each of these fields have different skill sets and different intellect sets.
