    That really should have been done a century ago. I remember when they made it a law that a person could walk away from work to go vote and come back to work. never happened correctly, and people are still fired for taking time off to go vote. Not enough is done since everthing is bought and sold, and no morals or honor are allowed to be a part of business and society.

Just what we need, another holiday. With voting by mail, early voting and polls open until 8 PM, what we need is a law requiring all those who are eligible, to vote. It's got nothing to do with not enough time. Why people don't vote is a toss up between apathy and unhappiness with the field, not because they don't have the time.
