Transsexual: Someone who's physical sex does not match their internal (mind) sex, which causes severe dysphoria (discomfort) and leads them to make social and physical changes to bring them (mind and body) in line. Crossdresser/Transvestite: These are essentially the same as each other. Someone who finds comfort, enjoyment, or sexual satisfaction from wearing the clothes of and presenting themselves as members of the opposite sex. However they do not feel out of place in their own skin and do not seek to change their sex. Sissy: Often used as an insult for effeminate boys/men or in sexual cases, men who want to be treated like little girls. Shemale/Ladyboy: These are also essentially the same as each other. Both are terms coined in pornography about transsexual women who have not (for whatever reason) had SRS/GRS. Shemales for westerners and Ladyboys for asians. While some transsexual women might not opt for the big operation and/or choose to embrace these terms, they are seen by the majority of the Transgender Community as hurtful slurs and insults.
