Why do people speak on topics they know nothing about?
-
It seems many people have the audacity to give opinions about certain topics they know little to nothing about, why is this so? For instance they may speak on politics, rate a president's term, allowed to vote, may speak on science, law, art etc and have a very limited knowledge, yet still feel inclined to speak about it I.e. a person asked why do rich people go poor? I assume nobody here is rich, how would they know? Yet 17 people answered Someone asked about the efficiency of a democracy vs republic, people answered sounding absolutely idiotic Why speak from a place of little knowledge?

Answer:
So unless you have complete knowledge of a topic you are not allowed to have an opinion on it? Interesting, what about topics that we do not have complete knowledge of? Such as life, does that mean we can not talk about it? Where do you think the ideas for inventions, experiments etc come from? They come from peoples opinions, which spark discussions which promotes ideas. Not to mention a way to gain knowledge is to show you don't have it. Why not simply educate them?
