Is it possible to receive dish network programming on my pc?

I have Dish Network and they have my local channels as Nashville. Is it possible to receive at least 1 from Knoxville which is closer to me.

  • If i can receive a Knoxville local in addition to my Nashville ones can i also get at least one Chattanooga as well? I am almost the same distance from all of them but closer to Knoxville.

Don't think so, but call and ask. At one time somebody divided up the country and assigned a local station service area. It was based upon something other than what the locals think their nearest station is. For example, we are much closer to Houston, but San Antonio is the local stations provided by the satellites. Most people here think Houston is the big city and would want the Houston stations. Check the weather news on the local station your receive. They should include your area in their weather maps.
