What language has the most complex grammar in the world?

Is a Grammar Nazi called that because they wish there existed only one master language in the whole world?

  • Just think about it. They are against even the slightest deviations of what established language rules say. Isn't that how we got so many languages in the first place? Certain words starting to be mispronounced and mutating into other words, before you know it we got whole different dialects which in turn converted into different languages as people moved around the Earth? If there existed Grammar Nazis back when the first language appeared, would they have hindered the evolution of other languages? What do you think?

  • Answer:

Grammar Nazis exist in all languages, not just English.

I don't know what people like that think because that is a different mindset than what I have. There are some who come on here and point out every typo or grammatical error and that ruffles may other feathers. Respectfully, I prefer to refer to them as the grammar police and not Nazis, which were a group of people that committed genocide, stole property, initiated war, etc...far worse than an annoying troll here.

No. They're like that because they dislike when people use their language inappropriately. Gramma Nazis are in EVERY language, not just English. :)

They're just obsessive. You know, in the restaurant they'll line up all the silverware so everything's neat and orderly, while awaiting their food. On the other hand, some of us just do it for fun....

I see you haven't learned your lesson yet. "Grammar Nazi" is a phrase used by illiterate crybabies in their pathetic attempts to excuse their inadequate language skills. Instead of crying over your inability to write and speak the language, your time would be better spent taking a remedial course in the language you're having trouble with. No. They are just uncomfortable with anything different than what they are used to or they love pointing out the "mistakes" of others.

Oh, come off it. "Grammar Nazi" is a pathetic term coined by languge-impaired dimwits who resent being corrected by anyone with a high school education, or IQ greater than rhubarb. If you had stayed in school, you'd know what a Nazi is. Tip #1: Nazis had nothing to do with grammar. Tip #2: Stay in school. That high school diploma is more valuable than you know. If you had stayed in school you wouldn't have to invent your own history of the origin and evolution of language. You'd have learned it in school--or you'd be able to investigate it using a simple search engine. Or you could visit Amazon.com and order "The Language Instinct" by Steven Pinker.
