What is a transparent order?

How are you supposed to deliver the mail in order if you don't know what order they go in?

  • I'm a newly hired CCA and I've shadowed a carrier on their route for three days. I've asked her how she knows what order to deliver her mail and she tells me the same answers over and over again: "They are in the order of the addresses along the route" or "You'll learn". I know I deliver them in order along the route, but I don't get the order. I don't live in the area so I don't know any of the addresses covered by my mail office's routes. If I have to load the boxes into my mail truck in order, I don't know which addresses go in front of the others. The boxes aren't labeled with a number to tell me what order to place them, and I can't tell what order to put them in by looking at the addresses on the mail. Is there any way to make all this easier to understand?

Then get out a map and study the streets and numbers. If you don't think you are capable of learning then you need to find a job you can handle.
