Who is a better art thief---Pablo Picasso or Actor James Franco, who has the art world in an uproar right now at Tate Gallery? Haha!

• Franco appropriated artist Cindy Sherman's photography shows. She made a statement about it. She was shocked the Tate had Franco's "borrowed" show at that place where they show the elite art. Well, the elites of art are upset. How dare he do that and have the "Tate Gallery" be so blatant to show it! Congrats, James Franco! That's what Picasso did all the time! Hahaha!

This is just about a single exhibition. There are some other points to consider about James Franco: - he originally became famous with another kind of art that the one he "recycles", - he is a "celebrity", - he clearly gives credit to his inspiration. Some of those who had appreciated the original work by Cindy Sherman were negative about this "remake" because the original work had a political, feminist statement, and such a statement does not seem to appear by James Franco. At the worst, it could be seen just as a kind of elaborate prank.
