How to ask him out?

just how much should I sue ask.com and/or oracle for now that they have installed a piece of crap ware on my PC without my consent ?

  • I asked the above question at Ask.com after the last Java update from Oracle. Usually Oracle give me a chckbox so I can choose whether or not I want to install any Ask software. Needless to say I am very careful to say NO every time. This last time I was not given that opportunity, and the crap was installed on my PC. I am not sure what you will see clicking the abowe link. You may be asked to log in or something. so here is the text the link show me: "Sorry, but your question has been removed. • Answer:

I've seen these companies get progressively trickier with how they hide the crap they include with their software. It's no longer a matter of unchecking a box... sometimes now you need to hit "cancel" in a dialogue rather than "ok" or "next". Cancel doesn't cancel the software install, it just cancels the crapware install. If you can read text that is 1mm high, you'd see that. However, this is a no-brainer. Java is utter shit and it's a giant gaping security hole larger than any an elephant's asshole. The crapware that comes with Java is no worse than Java its self. Your solution is to uninstall Java and never install it again. The list of stuff that will not work with Java is rapidly shrinking - many organizations took java-dependance out of their software back about a year or more ago when the last major java vulnerability left many major companies hacked.
