Is peace between Israel and Hamas possible?

With most Arabs, including many Palestinians, agreeing with Israel that a weakened Hamas means greater peace, why would anyone trust Hamas?

  • Hamas couldn't even honor a ceasefire for the Eid al-Fitr holiday, marking the end of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan. It continued to fire rockets after Israel extended the ceasefire. What's up with that?

  • Answer:

    No one should trust Hamas, considering how it has misappropriated funds and product for purposes of terror as opposed to helping its own people...and it will use its own people as human shields, too. As far as breaking multiple cease-fires, more of the same and Hamas seems hell-bent on attempting its goal of wiping out Israel as opposed to taking care of its own and co-existing with Israel like Egypt and Jordan have for decades.
