  • I need help finding a specific I Love Lucy episode I remember from childhood. It involved Fred seeing the price tag of something and exclaiming the price out loud while fainting from sheer disbelief at the cost. Can you point me to the correct episode or, even better, link a clip of that specific scene? My sister and I used to mimic this all the time and were talking about it recently. We would do this at department stores to annoy our mother. Neither of us could figure out what episode it happened in. I think the amount in question was $250 and I thought it was a fur coat, but it doesn't seem to be from the episode "The Fur Coat." I recall Fred's reading of the amount and fainting as really hammy.

Holy crap Wolfster, that is it! I thought for sure Partial Law was right that my sister and I were conflating or misremembering. We drove my mom nuts when we were kids by reading tags at department stores out loud in Fred's voice, then pretending to faint.
