Can I make money from home without making my own site?

How can I make more money as a college student?

  • I'm a college student and have several limitations that don't allow me to work several physical jobs at a time. I have tried freelancing before and it has gotten me nowhere. I have also tried amazon mechanical turks, that hasn't helped either. I'm looking at making about 100-200$ more biweekly, because my current income doesn't allow for me to pay all of my bills and go to school at the same time. I really don't want to drop out of school. That would be degrading to me. Are there any legitimate ways that I can make money from home? I'm good at writing essays and several of my submissions for friends have gotten well over an 85%. I do it for free, but if paid I'm sure I'll do better. I also don't want to do anything too time consuming, like making bracelets or clay figurines and selling them on etsy or a similar site. I need to start making more money fast, and it needs to be something I can do virtually. If it helps, I'm a computer science major. I am in my second year of college. My current job is flexible and I get at least two days off a week. I just need to make 100-200 more every other week. Any legit ideas?

    When I was in college I used to tutor high school kids and I made more than enough to get by.I never did one on one,I organized small groups of 3 or 4 students and gave them a discount and that way I had time for even more lessons.If they wanted one on one I charged 30% more.Pretty soon each student would bring a friend along and in no time I had 3 groups of 4 students a day.I did this until I finished college.

I think you should look in the want ads and apply for a regular job with a regular company. If they like you, they can adjust the hours to fit your schedule. The job doesn't have to match perfectly to your expertise, just be something where you can do something that they need. What you need to do is take one day and look in the newspaper and then go down and physically talk to them. Look for smaller companies that don't have procedures to block you. Hopefully, you will get to talk to the bosses secretary, get her input on what the problems are. Then, if you are a fast enough thinker, just say, "I can fix that" and come off with some sort of idea. As a last choice, consider a student loan, but stay in school.
