How to rescue lost data back from Recycle Bin on Windows 7 computer?

  • In this morning, to see some movies stored on my Seagate external hard drive, I had connected it to my Windows 7 computer. However, for some careless operations, I just mistakenly deleted that movie folder there. Though I had checked that computer Recycle Bin Immediately, I just found nothing back. Do you know how I can rescue my lost videos back from windows computer Recycle Bin?

You need a data recovery utility. There are a number of them out there, but I've had luck with Minitool power data recovery. Seeing as this is an external drive and probably not one that has seen any real use since you lost the data, the chances are pretty good that you'll be able to get your data back. Just don't use it until you run the recovery tool (and especially don't write data to it).

When you delete something from an external disk, it doesn't go to the Recycle Bin. It just gets wiped. Sorry.
