• my sister won a free trial membership from a raffle at Danbury dollar saver theater. when she went to pick up her passes a fast talking con artist named Jeff tricked her into signing paperwork which turned out to be a 3 year contract! she asked repeatedly if she would be charged and if she could cancel at any time, he lied to her saying yes you can cancel any time and owe nothing. this month she got the surprise of a $40.00 charge on her bank card. when she contacted then they told her she was locked in a 3 year contract and the only way to get out was to pay 80% of the 3 years fee, over a thousand dollars. tomorrow i am taking her to see a lawyer we intend to sue premier fitness dayton mall in general and "Jeff" in particular. this kind of fradulant business practices, bating people in with "free" memberships and then tricking them into signing contracts is criminal and shows what kind of company National Fitness really is and looking online it appears even if you follow the cancellation guidelines they still won't cancel your contract
