Difficulty: Easy Things You'll Need Windows Setup Disk Instructions Boot your computer with the Windows Setup CD in the computer's disk drive. Accept the EULA at the bottom of the screen and follow all of the prompts until you come to one that gives you the choice to repair your system. Press the "R" button on your keyboard to start the repair. Wait for your computer to reboot, but don't press any keys when it prompts you to "Press any key to continue." Allow the computer to start the setup process again. Watch the bottom of the screen until it says "Installing devices" and then press the "Shift" and "F10" keys down together to open the command prompt. Type "nusrmgr.cpl" into the command prompt and press the "Enter" key on your computer's keyboard. Wait for the "User Accounts" screen to open and change the password on the administrator account. Type the new password in to the box when prompted. Restart your computer for the password changes to take effect. Log into the computer to gain access to the files you want.
