Why wont it fire i have a 1988 ford ranger with no power going to the fuel pump the relay is good as is the fuse whats wrong?

Answer:
I believe there is a fuel pump inertia switch somewhere in the right front passenger area , it might be just under the front edge of the carpet on the toe board towards the transmission hump like it is on the 1991 Ford Explorer , or an electrical connection problem - hope this helps
