Where are the best universities for architecture?

Masters of Science in Information Technology: Which universities have research interest in scalable web application (architecture)? (Europe/US)

  • I am a young software engineer who just graduate in 2011. At first, I don't know what I want to do in my career. Thus, I don't have any specific interest during my 4 years undergraduate. But after a year working as a .NET developer and picking up some free online classes (coursera, udacity), I kind of have a passion to learn something again and decide to apply for a master degree in the upcoming year. I want to learn things related to scalability, back-end for web apps and its architecture. So maybe there are some folks here who know one and two things where (universities) to learn this topic, or generally, if there is a better suggestion, it's always welcomed

    We offer a MSc where you can choose the following courses to specialize in Web Engineering: - Client Side Web Engineering - Scalable Web Architectures - Algorithms for the Social Web - Semantic Web and Data Engineering   http://www.fh-salzburg.ac.at/en/, http://master.multimediatechnology.at/ Language might be a problem: most of the lectures are in german, some in english.
