Does Google always ask math questions in interviews? What math areas are typically requested?

I received a couple of questions in my intern interview that had to do with probability and statistics. These questions were follow ups to the "main" interview question so definitely not the main topic, in my experience.

(Disclaimer:  I don't work for Google.) I have not always been asked math questions by them, but I have often been asked questions that required some logical reasoning about an algorithm, a data structure, etc.

They sometimes ask algorithm question that is math-related, for example statistics or probability. I was asked one such question about probability and dynamic programming.
