I'm taking the GRE exam in October, but all the time I do competitive programming. I got addicted to that and don't feel like studying for the GRE. What should I do?

I am a fresh graduate, placed in Indian IT firm but I want to go for MS next year. So I have my GRE exam in October but I don't feel like preparing for that. It doesn't mean I don't study but all the time I do programming and I just love that. How should I manage both at the same time?

Answer:
Dude, you need to devote time to GRE to perform well as it will pave the way for your graduate program at a reputed US University. You can then continue your passion of competitive programming there. I have experienced not devoting time to GRE due to my internship hours and then scored less. It would be feasible to study hard for GRE and get a top score at first attempt itself :)
