Why do photos fail to upload on e-bay?

How would you improve posting listings on eBay?

  • I've had a whole load of stuff I want to sell on eBay, some of it for over a year. The only thing that's holding me back is how laborious it is to create a listing on eBay (at least on their UK site): Take photos; If I've taken photos with a digital camera rather than a phone, put the photos on my computer; Find the correct category; Write a headline; Fill in the product details; Upload the photos; Write a description; Choose a delivery service; Confirm listing; And post.

  • Answer:

Are you repeatedly selling the same products? If so, you can review your Sold/Unsold items and Relist/Sell Similar - this uses the old listing as  template. If you are listing non-identical items you can try the Bulk Listing tool the eBay provides or a paid-for service like Auctiva

If you are looking at eBay drop ship product sales, eBay TurboLister is an excellent program written by eBay to manage and update listings for a storefront in bulk, and this can be a great tool for eBay drop ship product sales.  This keeps everything up to date for users wanting large product imports and updates on an eBay store. You can also choose to use File Exchange if you feel more comfortable with it or already have it installed (File Exchange formats also work with the Turbo Lister application.). The 3 most important fields for a successful eBay drop ship listing are your category selections, titles, and descriptions…not necessarily price. 1. Category: Select  the right categories and sub-categories to help buyers find your  item  easily. List your product in the secondary category wherever  relevant. 2. Title: A descriptive item title is an important part of a successful listing. 3. Picture: As  the saying goes, a picture is worth a 1000 words! Pictures are your   best choice to offer the “touch and feel” effect to potential buyers,  so  make sure to add pictures of your item to your listing. 4. Starting Price: For  an auction, the starting price is the price at which you would like  to  start the bidding on your item. A low starting price will encourage   buyers to bid on your item! 5. Item Description: A good item  description describes your item in detail to generate buyer  interest  and to help buyers know exactly what they will get when they  bid on or  buy your item. 6. Shipping and Payment: It is important to  inform buyers the payment and shipping options  upfront. It helps buyers  know the full cost of purchasing the item.
