How do I make my home address searchable on Google Maps?

I live in a village and my address is not on Google Maps.

Seems a bit obvious, but have you tried searching with your postcode/zipcode? You can also use grid references (latitude & longitude) by centering the map on your address and then clicking the link icon to the left of the map. That will give you a link which you can share. e.g. https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?ll=53.181311,-1.868019 If that's what you mean?
