What do you think of USA's loss to Germany in the 2014 FIFA World Cup group stage game? Will the USA win its next game in the knockout round of 16 stage?

Germany is one of the favorites to win it all and getting through to the knockout stage is all that matters right now. I think they have a good chance at beating Belgium.

Like Jim Wilson said, Germany is one of the top favourites for winning it all. I saw just the second half, and still felt that USA played very well against what is probably among the world's top 5 teams - something the US is nowhere close to, practically speaking. Also, to go through to the knockout rounds in a group from which Portugal is going home... no doubt a great job! Getting Klinsmann as the coach definitely helped. And here, I must digress from Jim's opinion. Belgium has some great players who can play very well together. With the rest they'd get between now and the Round-of-16 game, and the fact that they'd be a lot more acclimatized to Brazil by then... I think it is going to be another very tough game for USA. Depends on how much Klinsmann can prepare the defense, as well as on whether how well Dempsey can pass past Belgian defense (this I don't have as high hopes as the first case I mentioned). Belgium, I feel, has a slightly more edge to win.
