What is the scope of m tech in electronics?

Which branch is better for a electronics student to perform M.Tech in India?

Hi .. Its been almost a year since I did my B.E from Electronics & Communication filed from a reputed college in India .Now that I've been working in an IT company from past 1 year , I've suddenly decided to persue an M.Tech degree , i am confused on which branch in electronics to opt for .I couldn't get in the IIT's coz my Gate rank was quite low for entering into it !! So, recently , I had applied for M.Tech. at Manipal Institute of technology . I found that they offer M.Tech. for following courses :http://www.manipal.edu/Institutions/EngineeringandIT/MIT/Departments/ElectricalandElectronicsEngineering/Pages/PGPrograms.aspx ,http://www.manipal.edu/Institutions/EngineeringandIT/MIT/Departments/ElectronicsandCommn/Pages/PGPrograms.aspx ,http://www.manipal.edu/Institutions/EngineeringandIT/MIT/Departments/ElectronicsandCommn/Pages/PGPrograms.aspx,http://www.manipal.edu/Institutions/EngineeringandIT/MIT/Courses/PostGraduate/Documents/MTech_NW_Engg_course_structure.pdf . And also MSc Tech on VLSI . Now that currently I am not interested in joining the teaching profession , I would like to know which of the above listed courses has a good scope in future . Also , I couldn't figure out why they gave VLSI in MSc Tech .Any help on that would be greatly appreciated . Thanks in advance !
