  Do you have a degree? If you play draw something and wonder how you can make money from it, you are just like millions of people with a camera who think they can be photographers (including me sadly) Otherwise, my cousin has a masters degree in graphic design and he got laid off himself two years ago, and I think he's been looking for work since. I don't know what the market for graphic designers is, but maybe Pixar or Disney if you have the credentials. Otherwise, I dunno, logos? *EDIT* specifically you could probably look in the classifieds or something. I know some job hunter websites exist that you could maybe try for your area.
