Tall sleeping bag recommendations?

People say to get a -15 degree sleeping bag for the Alps in June when average temperature is +15?

  • Answer:

Go with the -15 degree one. An average temperature of 15, means that it could be much colder (or warmer), so you do not want to be unprepared for what really might happen. Weather is what you get, climate is what you expect. Always go conservative when it comes to surviving in the great outdoors. That goes for food, water, shelter and travel times. Have a great time.
