I want to start a girls singing group where should i start?

i think that you should go to church and after the service you should ask around because you should find a lot of people that go to church enjoy singing and before you know it you have more than 10 girls ready to sing for you

Here are some tips: Decide what kind of group you want to start. If it will be one soloist with instrumental backup, you would choose different members than if you want to sing barbershop harmony, for instance. Or it could be something in-between, where a couple of you sings, and maybe all play instruments. Find your members. Time to decide who you want to be in your group. School friends or maybe your sister! Select people who have the talent and the time. Make sure they are willing to participate and work for it. At least one of you should have some musical knowledge and experience, and at least one of you must have the patience and the discipline to make sure the group keeps going! Make a schedule. As soon as you know your plans, you need to have a meeting with your members; maybe they have an idea about someone else who could join the group. Maybe they have an idea for a new song. Divide up the work; assign jobs. Maybe one of your friends can't sing but wants to be a part of the group; she would be perfect for a secretary to take notes at meetings about ideas. You should also have a treasurer, who could also take the place of secretary sometimes. Both should have computer skills. The treasurer will hold onto the money and keep track of what you put in and take out. Work on performance. Write a song or choose a song to make a routine to. This is team effort. All the members should put forth ideas and mix and match the agreed upon ideas. Practice. This is what the group needs to do consistently. You should practice every week, several times a week, in the summer, and at least once a week during the school year Get booked to perform. Once everything is set, you need to get noticed. Why do you need anyone else? You need to take singing lessons... Also even the greatest vocalists are not famous. I can name a total of ZERO current vocalists. You need a band if you want to famous for popular music. Or at least to be able to play a guitar. First off very few people are going to become famous. There are more lottery winner than famous people. You should be thinking of a career. And music can be a career. But it's going to be TOUGH. Much more difficult than nursing or sales or marketing. It doesn't sound like you have put much thought into this. But you need to take vocal lessons. Not everyone has a good natural voice. That's the first part. Do you have the natural talent needed. Don't worry about forming a group just yet - you are getting way ahead of yourself. Also be prepared to work on this for YEARS before you are good enough to even start thinking about performing professionally. It's a tough road. Good luck.
