    Sunglasses do *not* protect your eyes from computer screens at all. They protect your eyes only from the hot rays of the sun. Wear them when you go out into the sun. Try doing this: a) After looking at the screen continuously for one hour, take a 10 minute break from the screen. Look outside a window and focus on something far away eg trees. Distance vision is more relaxing for your eyes. b) When you are working on the computer, force yourself to blink frequently. c) Ideally your back and neck should both be straight. d) Your eyes should look downwards at an angle of about 10 degrees. Do not look up!

Curious is the only one with a sensible answer. Sunglasses don't " protect" from anything indoors or on the computer. Sunglasses protect from glare and UV rays. Your monitor doesn't give off either of those.

I think it is good to have a glasses when your are working in front of a computer screen . Now day technology is amazingly grew up and screen comes with better quality vision and less harmful for eyes . Your sunglasses helps you to reduce the glare and direct light to your eyes . You can also use polarized or personalized sunglasses for this .
