I had a job interview with walmart 5/7/14.. When will they call me for orientation/first day of work? Plz HELP!!?

There were probably some things said that you forgot in your excitement that would have been helpful to figure out if you really got the job. It sounds to me like you did. Contact them to firm things up. Here are some of the indicators you are hired: 1. They asked you to give permission for a background check. 2. They have asked you to take a drug test. There is a cost for this - it usually means you are in. 3. They have given you a time and date to report for an orientation meeting or given you company training materials they have asked you to study. 4 They have asked you for direct deposit information for your paychecks. 5. They have scheduled you for work at a specific time. 6. They have given you a written job offer and you accepted its terms. 7. They have told you what your list of responsibilities will be and given you a job description. 8. They have asked for sizes to order your uniform, if appropriate or they have already given you clothing. 9. They have asked you to provide proof of age, proof of citizenship, auto insurance info, driver’s license or other documents. This may happen pre-hiring, too. 10. They have asked you for a schedule you can work and your available hours, school schedule, etc. Just one of these might mean you are hired - if you have 2-3 it is a very good sign. Best wishes!
