  • Answer:

There is a major recruiting shift as the economy improves, recruiters send out several hundred a day, knowing that the return will be few. Anytime key words match up on your resume, you will get an email. This is not rocket science. If you are interested, then reply back saying something like Dear Mr. Smoth, yes I am interested in interviewing and my available times are as follows (provide 2-3) If you are not interested, simply say Dr. Mr Smooth, thank you but I am very happy in my current role. The best thing to do in my opinion is to email a response back and if you have any questions or concerns maybe ask them in a general fashion. If not have a well laid out line of questions when you go to the interview. As a manager I am always very impressed with people when they have a prepared list of questions for me as it shows they do indeed have an interest in the position.
