Well, since this is a retail job, the interview is not going to be very difficult. In my college days, I worked in several retail positions at the mall and they are pretty straight-forward and usually easy. The tips that I can give you are going to be pretty obvious… show up on time, dress somewhat nice (shirt and khakis) which should be sufficient for an interview at Mcdonald's….just be yourself and make sure you know the skills that they are looking for. They are probably looking for someone who is good with cashiers, good communicator, friendly/outgoing since you are going to be dealing with customers, patient, quick on your feet, etc… I don't know about your past employment history, however, if you have these qualities to begin with, you should be in good shape for getting a job there. Trust me, it's not going to be very tough and they usually hire multiple people anyways. It's a huge business as you know.
